ABOUT THE BROWN COUNTY DEER CLASSIC
The Brown County Deer Classic is more than a fundraiser—it’s a Midwest tradition 35 years in the making.

Hosted annually by St. Mary Catholic School in Mount Sterling, Illinois, the Deer Classic celebrates its 35th year as one of the largest and most anticipated outdoor fundraising events in the region. What began as a small, community-driven effort to support our privately funded parochial school has grown into a beloved gathering for whitetail deer hunters, families, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the country.

Held each year during deer season in beautiful Brown County, Illinois the Deer Classic blends a deep appreciation for the outdoors with a strong sense of community and purpose. From seasoned hunters to first-time attendees, everyone is welcomed with open arms—and plenty of excitement.
